Your Queries Answered
A. HAQQ Cares PA is a complimentary offer (for 1-month) by PPIM to anyone downloading the HAQQ App. HAQQ App users will need to meet the minimum threshold established by HAQQ every month to retain the HAQQ Cares PA benefit for subsequent months – at no cost
A. HAQQ Cares PA is offered by Shieldcard Holdings Sdn Bhd (brand owner of the AXXESS program) in collaboration with PersatuanPengguna Islam Malaysia (PPIM)
A. This takaful coverage is provided by Zurich General Takaful Malaysia Berhad
A. You may cancel your takaful coverage by providing the Takaful Provider a written notice. However, there shall be no refund of premium by the Takaful Provider or Shieldcard Holdings Sdn Bhd.
A. As per Government regulations all persons should be given the option to nominate beneficiary upon purchasing an insurance or takaful policy. You may choose not to nominate. If you choose to nominate, kindly contact enquiry@shieldcard.com.my for more details.
A. All Malaysian and non-Malaysianlegally residing in Malaysia, registering for the HAQQ App
A. Non-AXXESS members subscribing to HAQQ Cares PA will be automatically registered as an AXXESS member (ifthey areabove18 years).
A. The HAQQ Cares PA is exclusive to HAQQ App users and not available for purchase
A. No health declaration form or medical report is required to subscribe to HAQQ Cares PA.
A. Yes, kindly refer to the list of exclusions in the Takaful policy which is available on this website.
A. Period of coverage is One (1)month.
A. The benefits with sum insured are as follows;
- Accidental Death up to RM25,000
- Permanent Disablement up to RM25,000
- Double Indemnity (Accidental Death or Permanent Disablement while Travelling on Public Transportation) up to RM50,000
- Accidental Hospital Income RM50/day(up to 30 days)
- Dengue Recuperation Benefitup to RM1,000
- Snatch Theft up to RM250
A. Policy effective date will be day following which you registered for the HAQQ Mobile App. As an example, if you registered on 1st February 2024, the effective date will be 2ndFebruary 2023.
A. No, there is no waiting period.
A. Yes, the policy provides 24/7 worldwide coverage.
A. Yes, you can. These are two different policies.
- Step 1: Contact AXXESS Customer Service at enquiry@shieldcard.com.my and provide us your details (fullname according to IC, IC number and policy number). After verifying your details, you will then receive the claim form.
- Step 2: Submit the completed claim form together with supporting documents to enquiry@shieldcard.com.my
- Step 3: Your claim will be reviewed accordingly by the Insurer and if approved, payment will be made within 3 working days from the approval date by the Insurer. Every claim approval is subject to the Insurer’s discretion.
